Carso Italia is the network of Italian laboratories of Groupe Carso, one of the main players in the European market of chemical and microbiological laboratory analysis.

In Italy, it brings together laboratories specialized in analysis for the agri-food sector, with the leadership in the market of vegetable food analysis, and for the environmental sector, with a leading position in environmental and air quality controls.

On the national territory, Carso Italia operates through Water&Life Lab, Indam Laboratori, Agro.Bio Lab, Arace Laboratori, Multiproject, Laboratori Chimici Stante and F.O.R.I.A. laboratories.

For over 20 years, Water & Life Lab has played a leading role in the fruit, vegetables, cereals and legumes supply chains, in Italy and Europe, guaranteeing analytical and regulatory expertise in the analysis of raw materials and derivatives. In addition to the food sector, the laboratory offers a wide range of sampling and analysis services on environmental matrices and on biomass, fertilizers and biofuels, supporting its customers in the control and sustainable management of resources in compliance with regulatory requirements. Since 2013 it has joined the network of laboratories of Groupe Carso (Carso Italia).

Indam Laboratori is an analysis institute founded in 1978 which, with specialized laboratories, is dedicated to the analysis of environmental pollution, work environments and food safety. Created with the aim of measuring, monitoring and harmonizing the impact of productive activities with the strict regulations for the protection of health and the environment, it has now become a reference laboratory for environmental analysis in Lombardy. Since 2013 it has become part of the Groupe Carso (Carso Italia) network of laboratories.

F.O.R.I.A (acronym for FIT for Organisation Retail International Agency) within Groupe Carso is the company specialized in Safety and Quality Management Systems activities in the commercial supply chain. Active in verifying compliance with the standards and regulations on hygiene and food safety, it has unique expertise and experience, particularly in the Retail sector, thanks to which it represents the most reliable partner both for problem resolution and for supporting the development of effective Quality systems.

Agro.Biolab Laboratory, accredited analytical laboratory, has been supporting the agri-food supply chain for over 15 years with certified analyses on food, feed, environment and packaging. Thanks to specialized departments and cutting-edge technologies, it guarantees reliable results on contaminants, microbiology, nutritional values, GMOs, allergens and product tests. Since 2023, it has been part of the Groupe Carso (Carso Italia) network of laboratories, strengthening its expertise and maintaining a fast, precise and customer-friendly approach.

Arace Laboratori is an accredited laboratory that since 2009 has been accompanying companies and public administrations with fast and reliable environmental and agri-food analyses. With services ranging from certified sampling to chemical and microbiological tests on water, soil, food and other environmental matrices, the laboratory combines personalized consulting and specialized expertise. In 2024, it joined the Groupe Carso (Carso Italia) network of laboratories, expanding technical capabilities and strengthening its presence on the national territory.

Multiproject, with over 25 years of experience, specializes in radiometric inspections supporting the steel industry, as well as in multidisciplinary services for environmental monitoring on major infrastructure projects and contaminated sites on land and at sea. Equipped with chemical laboratories and γ-spectrometry facilities in Gorizia, along with operational offices in Italy and Austria, it provides advanced solutions for air-quality control, radioactivity, acoustics, and electromagnetic fields. Since 2025, Multiproject has been part of the Groupe Carso (Carso Italia) network, accelerating its growth and expanding its ability to deliver innovative services.

Laboratori Chimici Stante, for more than 30 years, has been a key reference point in Northern Italy for the environmental sector, specializing in chemical, microbiological, and ecotoxicological analyses. Accredited to UNI CEI EN ISO/IEC 17025, the laboratory provides sampling services and characterization of municipal and industrial waste, and offers strong expertise in the classification of water, soil, and air emissions. It also supports companies with industrial hygiene services and regulatory consulting. Headquartered in Bologna, with facilities in Padua and Cinisello Balsamo (Milan), it has been part of the Groupe Carso (Carso Italia) network since 2025.
